This package includes, old FS2000 and 2002 scenery which has been updated for FS2004. Its part of my Greek Airfields package that currently is not fully compatible with FS2004 since Microsoft decided to move the airports to different positions and ASD which I use for placing these objects is not compatible with FS2004. Keep checking HvACC for future releases on FS2004.
Here you will find enhancements for Kerkira airport that make it look closer to the real airport, hotels, runway turning bay, perimeter fences, radio antennae, airport approach radar antenna to the Southwest and most importantly an exclusion of autogen scenery that is generated on each side of the runway. A big difference is attributed to Babis Peribolass Kerkira mesh terrain (Kerkyra_mesh.bgl) that is included in this scenery.
Approach to Kerkyra, LGKR
Final approach brings you into a funnel between two hills and the sea is all around the airport. Runway 35 has a VOR/DME and a VOR/NDB approach and runway 17 is approached visually with a left hand pattern (circling approach) after executingting any of the VOR approaches for 35. The VOR/NDB procedure for 35 requires last minute right turn to finals.
